  • Mary McConneloug (Seven Cycles) won an arbitration case against USA Cycling to take the sole US women's spot on the US Mountain Bike Olympic Team. The spot was orginially awarded to Sue Haywood (Trek/VW). Read Sue's response.
  • The UCI has announced that Argentina will get the final women's spot in the Olympic Mountain Bike Race. Jimena Florit (RLX Ralph Lauren) will fill that spot.
  • The Canadian women's Olympic Mountain Bike team: Marie Helene Premont, Alison Sydor (Rocky Mountain/Crystal Business Objects) and Kiara Bisaro (Gears Racing).
  • Jamie Whitmore picks up another Xterra win in Keystone!
