In
2002... the emergence of the daisy onto the pro
mtb scene! all orange and purple. "i remember
lining up for the cross country at Big Bear- the
first big Pro race with the new flower kit- i
was so nervous. i couldn't believe i was doing
it!"

In
2003... the "fuschia fiasco"... "it
was a big surprise when i first opened the box
of 2003 mtbchick clothing... fushcia?" There
was a miscommunication on the color, and instead
of purple, the base color was more of a fuschia.
But the color ended up being extremely popular
with spectators. "they would yell, 'i love
you uniform' as i rode by at Nationals- mostly
guys, even!"

2004-
uniform utopia- the perfect colors and design!
mtbchick has evolved into an Internationally recognized
entity- serving women with confidence and empowerment!
Of course, the flower is not such a novelty anymore,
as many more pro teams, including Ford mtb and
Kenda road teams have incorporated flowers into
their design. mtbchick is proud to be a pioneer
in the mountain bike world! "we have set
a precedent- that it's ok to be feminine and fast!
you don't have to act like and look like a boy
in order to be a pro racer- just be who you are,
and if it's a girl, then so be it!"
2005-
now we're blue. not sad, but blue!
