I
have never mountain biked before, can I still
attend?

experience is necessary.

first timers class. You will learn everything you
need to know to get into the sport! We are here
to help you!
|
|
I
do not own a mountain bike, can I still attend?
|
Demo
and rental bikes will be available on a first
come-first serve basis/by reservation. Please
let us know if you will need a bike!
|
|
I
am too scared of the trails at your clinic location.
Will I be able to ride the trails during the clinic?
|
Our
beginners will concentrate on the easy trails,
and on learning skills off-trail. You will not
be expected to ride the more advanced trails.
We will do out best to ensure you have the right
amount of challenge without being put into danger.
We realize that everyone has different skill and
fear levels, and we will work through that with
each individual!
|
|
I
do not have bike shorts, can I still
ride?
|
It
is not a requirement to wear bike shorts, but your
ride will be much more enjoyable. We will have some
bike shorts for sale at the clinic as well, if you
decide to change your mind. |
|
I
have a 12 year old daughter who would like to
do the clinic, is she too young?
|
Our
junior class is for 12-18 year olds, a great age
for getting into mountain biking! However, we would
love to meet your young ones, feel free to bring
them out furing the clinic to meet us! |
|
I
have no interest in racing, is that all the clinic
is about?
|
It
is definitely not an issue if you are not interested
in racing! We will only concentrate on racing in
the more advanced groups, where the riders are interested
in learning about it. Most of the Beginner groups
will simply focus on riding, not racing! |

Questions |
|
|
I
am an Expert racer, what could I possibly learn
from the mtbchicks?
|
We
are Pros- from first year to 6th year, and have
plenty of experience to pass on to every rider!
If you are interested in learning more about racing
and how to go Pro, this is an excellent opportunity
for you to learn from those who have been there
before.
|
|
I
can already ride the trails at your clinics location,
is there any benefit of taking your clinic?
|
There
is so much more to mountain biking than simply
knowing how to ride a trail. We will teach you
new techniques and give you insight on technical
riding to take your riding to the next level.
Think fluidity!

|
| Why
is this clinic so expensive? |
the
mtbchick clinic price, $150.00 for 2 days is actually
much less than most 2-day clinics. The going price
is around $250 for a weekend. We are trying to
make our clinics affordable for everyone, but
we must cover insurance fees, and all the costs
of making your weekend as much fun and as comfortable
as possible! Of course, you're getting breakfast
and lunch for 2 days, 2 entry fees to our races,
and instruction from seasoned Pro racers- and
making a donation to Boarding for Breast Cancer-
we hope you find our clinic is a good value!
