how
she does it Lots of hours on the bike riding along side
my husband and friends, the continued encouragement from my
coach, Bill Harris, and support from my family and those I
work with.
first
comp I have been involved with sports ever since I can
remember, so I'm pretty competitive. I played basketball,
volleyball and softball in high school, and after graduating,
I was looking for something physical to do. Riding, and then
racing was the perfect fit for me.
most
admired racer Laurant Jalabert, because he was always
a very aggressive racer.

how
I got started I've always been pretty active, but my husband,
Ty, races, so it was only a matter of time before I got into
it.
Why
I love it It's the perfect combination of pain and grace.
When you reach the top, your legs are screaming at you to
stop and sweat is pouring down your cheek, but once gravity
takes hold, you let go and you, your bike and mountain become
one.
